Soviet Victory Day Parade

The first Soviet Victory Day parade took place on June 24, 1945, to commemorate the May 9 Victory Day, which was the great triumph of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany. The final battle of the war against the Third Reich was the Battle of Berlin, which was one of the most gory and vicious military engagement of World War II, along with the Battle of Stalingrad.

The first Soviet Victory Day parade was the largest and most massive military parade that was ever held in military history.
